Types of subscriptions
An institutional licence subscription is for an unlimited number of recipients at the same domain address. Institutional licence subscribers to EU Business Report or
EU Transport Report receive a special edition which contains a bi-weekly selection of the latest EU legal draft texts, reports, documents, research and studies. These documents can be downloaded by single-click access directly from the PDF special edition.
A multiple user licence is for a maximum of eight recipients at the same domain address.
A single user licence is for one recipient only.
Institutional subscriptions
Institutional subscription to any EUi publication is by volume. Corresponding to the annual schedule of the EU institutions, all EUi volumes commence in September and end in August.
New subscriptions received after a volume year has begun are applied to the current volume year (any back issues are shipped with the next subsequently published issue).
Group / Association / Society subscriptions
Groups, associations, or societies interested in offering a subscription to an EUi publication as an additional membership benefit are encouraged to contact EUi Customer Service. A wide variety of such arrangements is available.
Personal/ individual subscriptions
Annual personal/ individual subscriptions are accepted on a rolling basis and are available to a home residential address only.
Multi-year subscriptions
Multi-year subscriptions are available at the current one-year rate times the number of volumes purchased.
Agents' discounts
A 5% agency discount is provided for prepaid subscriptions received prior to commencement of the annual subscription period, i.e. before 1 September for the volume commencing on 1 September of the same year.
2005 subscription rates
2005 rates apply to all subscriptions placed on or after 1 September 2004, regardless of volume and issue. 2006 prices will take effect on 1 September 2005.
Frequency
All EUi publications are published 20 times a year. This means a bi-weekly frequency with breaks corresponding to the annual schedule of the EU institutions during holiday periods over Christmas, Easter and the summer.
Format
All EUi publications are available in PDF, print and CD-ROM format.
Layout
The layout of all EUi publications has been developed to facilitate easy and high-quality print-outs on both A4 and US letter size paper.
Delivery method
Delivery of PDF editions is by e-mail as an attached PDF file and as an additional e-mail containing an encoded web link for direct download. Alternatively, subscriptions issues can be made available via upload to a dedicated permanent link on the EUi or on the subscriber's server. No online password access is required. Print and CD-ROM editions are mailed by priority mail and air mail for international delivery respectively.
Back issues
Back issues are available for all EUi publications as complete volumes and in any format - PDF, print or CD-ROM.
Renewals
Subscriptions comprise 20 issues and are renewed automatically if not cancelled
in writing 30 days before the end of a subscription period.
Cancellations
Subscriptions can only be cancelled at the end of a subscription period, i.e. in August for institutional subscribers. While cancellation notices may be sent any time during a subscription period, they must reach us in writing 30 days before the expiry date at the latest to prevent the subscription from being renewed automatically. Cancellations for part volumes/years cannot be accepted.
Change of address
To prevent a disruption of subscription service, please notify us as soon as possible by quoting your customer reference number along with both the old address and the new one.
Payment information
All subscriptions are payable in full in advance.
Money-back guarantee
All subscriptions are covered by our money-back guarantee policy. If you are not happy with your new subscription after receiving your first issue, refunds minus bank charges if applicable for cancelled subscriptions are honoured if received within 30 days of date of publication of the first issue received. This does not include renewals.
Subscribers can chose between Euro, GBP or US$ rates to settle payment.
We prefer payment by cheque, denominated in euros, pounds sterling or US dollars, and made out to EUi Media Ltd. Payment can also be made by international money order or bank transfer. We do not accept credit cards.
Claims and refunds
Please allow ten days for PDF editions and two months for print and CD-ROM editions from the date of publication before claiming. Missing issues claimed will be honoured if notice is received within six months of issue publication. Claims will not be honoured beyond six months after the original publication date.
